Rapid Rules

General Play

1. Players start by placing a piece of their color in the corner square nearest them on the board
2. Players take turns placing pieces of their color on the board such that the only contact between two pieces of the same color is at the corners
3. Players continue until all players are unable to play either due to being blocked or running out of pieces

Winning and Losing

• Players count the number of squares left in their remaining pieces and earn negative points for each square
• Players earn 15 points for playing all pieces, and earn an additional 5 points if the last piece played was the smallest one
• The player with the highest score is the winner
