Rapid Rules
General Play
- Choose a player to be the dealer first.
- Dealer will deal cards one at a time to each player.
- As each player receives a card, they fill their rack from back to front.
- After all player racks are full, the undealt cards (Stockpile) are placed face down in the center of the table and the top card is laid face up next to it to create the discard pile.
- Moving left from the dealer, each player needs to draw one card and replace a card in their rack with it.
- If taken from the stockpile, the player has the option to discard the drawn card instead of replacing a card in their rack
- After a player wins the round (see Winning and Losing), the player to the left of the dealer is the new dealer and steps 2-5 are repeated.
Winning and Losing
- When a player has all cards arranged from low (in the 5 slot) to high (in the 50 slot) they can shout "RACK-O!"
- They need to show their cards. If there is a card out of order then the player who called "RACK-O" is out and play continues for the other players.
- The first player to receive 500 points is the winner of the game.
Scoring
- After a player successfully has a RACK-O they get 75 points.
- If they have a 3 or more card run (sequential numbers on the cards) then they earn a bonus of 50 (3 cards), 100 (4 cards), 200 (5 cards), or 400 (6+ cards) points
- All other players receive points based on how many slots they have completed starting from the low (5) slot, indicated by the numbers on the side of the rack.
